ElderServe - Dare to Care Home Delivery Pilot Program
We’ve got some exciting news to share! Dare to Care has officially launched the Home Delivery Pilot program using DoorDash! This Pilot is allowing Dare to Care to test the waters and gather data on the need for home delivery in our community. Over the years many of the seniors in our community have expressed a need for transportation assistance when it comes to getting food. Their goal is to help eliminate this barrier.
We are excited to share this milestone with you! During the month of April, DoorDash delivered to 35% of our elders receiving commodities, and we aim to increase our monthly DoorDash deliveries by 5% every month going forward. Our elders have expressed immense gratitude and love being part of the Home Delivery Pilot Program, and we believe this service can benefit many more.
